Nail on the head, the statement by Preston on the 'reality' of democracy. The dreadful thing in Malaysia is that we may be seeing the start of the "tearing up of the textbooks" where 'tribal and religious" loyalties hold sway over political allegiances. UMNO and PAS are pre dominant ethnc components in the 2 major opposing political alliances currently locked in a divisive power struggle for the rights to rule the country. I pray that Malaysia do not become the "Zimbabwe" of S. E. Asia !!Abdullah welcomes PAS statement on talks
